Train Festival 2026

The Móra la Nova Railway Museum is getting ready to celebrate a new edition of the Train Festival, which will take place on 10, 11 and 12 October 2026.

During this special weekend, the Museum will open its doors to offer visitors the opportunity to discover and enjoy the important railway heritage it preserves, including locomotives, vehicles and historical railway equipment that are part of railway history.

The Train Festival is a special opportunity to get closer to the world of railways and discover the Museum’s historic locomotives, vehicles and facilities, in a unique setting next to the former Móra la Nova railway station.

🚂 SPECIAL PROGRAMME

📌 SATURDAY, 10 OCTOBER

4:00 pm – Presentation of the Verkami crowdfunding campaign for the Mollerussa-Balaguer steam locomotive

We will present the project to recover and restore this historic steam locomotive, with the aim of bringing it back to life.

5:00 pm – 25th Anniversary Celebration of APPFI

We will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Associació per a la Preservació del Patrimoni Ferroviari i Industrial (APPFI), marking 25 years dedicated to the preservation and promotion of railway heritage.

During the three days of the Train Festival, visitors will be able to enjoy train services:

🎟️ TICKET OFFICE

The ticket office will be open during the three days of the Train Festival, from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm.

A special event for families, railway enthusiasts and anyone interested in discovering the history of the railway in a different way.
