On 12 September 2026, the Móra la Nova Railway Museum will be transformed into the setting for a historical reenactment of the Third Battle of Lake Ladoga, on the Leningrad Front, in 1943.

🎖️ “WAR AND TRAINS” invites you to relive one of the most intense episodes of the Second World War, with historical reenactments, uniforms, vehicles, period weapons, authentic atmosphere and, above all, the fundamental role of the railway during wartime.

🚂 An experience for the whole family and a unique opportunity to discover history in a different, immersive and spectacular way.

🕚 Reenactment times:
➡️ 11:00 am
➡️ 5:00 pm

🎟️ Ticket office opening:
➡️ 10:00 am for the morning session
➡️ 4:00 pm for the afternoon session

🚗 Access and parking: access to the site and the parking area will be via the Garcia side of the railway shed. The Signal Box Tower will remain closed during this activity.

📍 HOW TO GET TO THE RAILWAY MUSEUM SHED

The show will take place in the railway shed of the Móra la Nova Railway Museum, located on the side of the railway tracks opposite the main station.

🚗 If you are coming from the centre of Móra la Nova:

1️⃣ You must cross the level crossing.

2️⃣ You will first find a dead-end road on your left. Continue a little further.

3️⃣ On your left, you will see a sign marked “Cochera”. Turn onto this paved road.

4️⃣ After approximately 400 metres, you will reach the shed area. You will first see the building on your left, below the level of the road.

5️⃣ Continue along the same road and, just after passing the shed, you will find the downhill access, which is clearly signposted.

👉 Follow the “Cochera” signs to reach the entrance and parking area directly.
